Tasting notes
The 2017 La Garde Blanc has a crisp and lively bouquet with dew-dappled green apples and light grass clipping notes. The palate is well balanced with a citric entry, more apply towards the second half with just a soupçon of salinity on the finish. This is often released at a keen price and will hopefully provide great value for money.

This is very linear and really energetic with a driven acidity and tight and compact fruit. Full-bodied yet remains so agile and bright. The lemon-zest and salty character is impressive. Only 10% new wood here.
Pale gold. Subtle mealy oak on the nose and fragrant with Sauvignon Blanc. That little bit of Sémillon adds weight and a breadth to the precision and freshness of the Sauvignon Blanc. Balanced, intense and long in freshness. (JH)
