Score 90-92 · Drink 2022 - 2038, Neal Martin
The 2017 de la Huste has a well defined bouquet of blackberry and wild strawberry with a subtle floral scent that develops nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, quite pure in style with a light blueberry and cassis finish that has a real sense of elegance.

Deep garnet-purple, the 2017 de la Huste gives plums and warm black cherries on the nose with suggestions of bay leaves and underbrush. Medium-bodied with plenty of freshness and soft tannins, it takes just a slight dip in the mid-palate and finishes a tad short. Apr 2018, www.robertparker.com
