Saline, angular and rich. Finishes quite briefly after the power of the palate. Lovely fragrance while it lasts. (RH)

Tight, restrained nose opens with air to reveal complex scents of lemon, lime, stone, mint and iodine, plus an almost Viognier-like floral quality. Quite dry and austere in the early going, with the lemon, lime and stone flavors coming across as very clenched. Possesses excellent stony energy but this wine will need six to eight years of cellaring upon its release.
