Score 87/100 · Drink 1996-2006, Robert Parker, Jan 1997
Grillet's 1990 hints at the great potential possessed by this property. While most 1990 Condrieus have one foot in the grave, this wine remains young and vibrant, with a moderate straw color, and plenty of fresh, honeyed fruit with acacia scents in the background. Medium-bodied, with good concentration, excellent freshness, and a long, spicy, crisp finish, it should continue to drink well for 7-10 years. It is measured and streamlined but very good. Last tasted 7/96.
