Tasting notes
The 2015 Villa Antinori is a fabulous wine, especially considering its price range. Succulent red cherry and plum fruit, soft contours and silky tannins add to its considerable appeal. This is frankly an unreal level of quality for a wine with a production of 2.5-3 million bottles a year, all of it from estate vineyards.

With more than three million bottles produced, the 2015 Villa Antinori is easy to find, affordable and easy drinking. Fruit comes from various parts of Tuscany (not one specific zone), and the blend is mostly Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot thrown in. A fraction of the wine is aged in new oak, and the rest is put into neutral barrel. What more can you say? This is precisely the kind of wine you'll want to pick up for outdoor barbecues or pizza night in front of the television. It offers freshness with abundant sweet fruit.
