Score 93/100 · Drink 2014-2022, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Sep 2015

A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, the 2010 Summus is a ripe and delicious wine that oozes forth with dark cherry, dried blackberry, prune and plum. This expression is especially shaped by the moderate 2010 heat and marked shifts between night and daytime temperatures that helped to set the wine's beautiful color and aromas. In the mouth, Summus feels velvety rich with smooth, ripe tannins.
