Tasting notes
The 2016 Les Hauts du Tertre is a supple, fruity wine that will drink nicely right out of the gate. Cabernet Franc aromatics and brightness are some of the key signatures in this floral delicate Margaux. The 2016 Les Hauts is very nicely done.

The 2016 Les Hauts du Tertre has a medium garnet-purple color and nose of tar, dried herbs, earth and plums with a waft of red and black currants. The medium-bodied palate is chewy with just enough fruit, finishing earthy.
The 2016 Les Hauts du Tertre is a very pretty, gracious second wine from du Tertre. Floral notes and bright red berry fruit give the wine lovely lift to match its silky, airy personality. The high percentage of Cabernet Franc (30 percent) comes through in the wine's aromatic profile. The 2016 will drink nicely upon release.
