Light, vivid orange. A heady, mineral-accented bouquet evokes ripe red berries, blood orange, nectarine and potpourri, with a hint of fennel in the background. Offers palate-staining raspberry, bitter cherry and citrus pith flavors and a suave touch of honeysuckle that gains strength with air. Concentrated yet elegant and precise, with superb finishing clarity and mineral- and floral-driven persistence.

More fresh, crisp and elegant than the Tavel la Dame Rousse, the 2015 Tavel Cuvee de la Reine des Bois gives up crystal clear notes of wild strawberries, frambois, flowers, crushed rock and herbes de Provence in a medium-bodied, layered, lengthy style. It's the best Rosé I've tasted in quite some time.
