Tasting notes
The 2016 La Rose Figeac is laced with savory herb, rose petal, mint and sweet red cherry notes that give the wine its distinctive personality. Despite its mid-weight feel, the 2016 offers notable flavor intensity and impeccable overall balance. There is more than enough complexity to allow the 2016 to develop very nicely for a number of years to come.

Dense and layered with a very pretty center palate of berry and floral character. Medium, chewy tannins. Fresh finish.
The 2016 La Rose Figeac is powerful yet also quite savory in style. Sweet floral and herbal notes add an attractive upper register to the dark-toned fruits in this pretty, deceptively midweight Pomerol. The 2016 packs a serious punch as it puts on weight with air.
The 2016 La Rose Figeac offers simple redcurrant jam and strawberry scents on the nose that needs a little more definition. The palate is balanced with stringy tannin andmoderate depth, but shows some attenuation towards the finish.
