Very vivid aromas of crushed berries and dried oranges that carry through to a full body, with juicy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Hints of toasted oak, too. Pure merlot. Needs two or three years to come together completely, but already enticing. Try in 2021.

Pretty density and richness to this with blueberry and walnut character. Medium-bodied, silky and flavorful. Attractive young wine. Mar 2017, www.jamessuckling.com

Lightly mulled plum and blackberry fruit is coated with a layer of roasted vanilla. A touch dusty through the finish, but this red is persistent and the fruit is pretty, so I suspect this will fill out. Apr 2017, James Molesworth, www.winespectator.com
