Tasting notes
Notes of citrus, winter savory/green herbs, and subtle minerality define the 2016 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc. It’s medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity and a great finish. It plays in the fresh, crisp, racy end of the spectrum yet has beautiful fruit and purity.

The 2016 Domaine de la Solitude Blanc, a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon, has a generous, focused bouquet of Golden Delicious apple, hints of grapefruit and a touch of yellow flowers. The palate is well balanced with a slightly honeyed entry, the Sémillon playing a key role here. Hints of lemon curd and ginger develop toward the intense finish. Very fine.
Thereâs a very beautiful and alluring side to the nose with an array of grassy and herbal aromas, as well as dried mango, a peach edge and strong lemon citrus. The palate has a very assertive line of acidity with bright, mouthwatering and smoothly fleshy fruit in abundance. Solid value here. A blend of 60 per cent sauvignon and 40 per cent semillon. Drink or hold.
The Domaine de la Solitude 2016 Blanc has a ripe apples and apricots-scented nose with wafts of lime blossoms, hay and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, the palate is seriously racy with loads of zesty sparks and a steely finish.
