Tasting notes
The 2014 Château du Taillan has attractive blackberry and boysenberry fruit on the nose, a touch of pencil lead and smoke coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannin, very well judged acidity, a gentle grip and a lovely juicy blackberry and wild strawberry finish that puts a smile on your face. Delicious! Tasted September 2016.
