The 2015 Beaune les Aigrots 1er Cru Blanc has a slightly more tropical-tinged bouquet with hints of dried pineapple and peach skin, a melted wax scent lurking just behind. The palate is waxy on the entry, slightly lower in acidity compared to Lafarge's Meursault, but with admirable depth and with just a tang of ginger on the controlled finish. Fine, albeit probably early drinking. Dec 2016, www.robertparker.com
