Tasting notes
Cask sample. Really bright, sparky nose with a bonfire smoke and flint aromas. Punchy fruit, bright palate, crisp finish and a lovely mealy character. (RH)

Nice, lean, racy and very dry on the end. Correct and refreshing. (JR)
The 2015 Puligny Montrachet Village was taken from tank and will undergo a racking at the beginning of December. As such there was some turbidity in its appearance, but the nose showed fine clarity with fresh lime and kiwi fruit aromas. The palate is balanced with well-judged acidity. It feels quite refined with touches of creme fraiche accompanying the citrus fruit, although it just fades a little towards the finish. On reflection, I feel that the palate needs to step up to the potential quality of the aromatics.
