Tasting notes
(aged in a single new low-toast barrique that was dried for 3-1/2 years): Bright pale yellow. Reticent, very pure aromas of peach, toast and oak spices. Very rich but tight, with its stone fruit and hazelnut flavors supported by a firm mineral spine and vibrant acidity. These vines are planted at the same altitude as those in Combettes but the two wines could hardly be more different in style. Finishes with subtle palate-staining length and salinity.
