Tasting notes
The 2015 Macon Milly Lamartine has a lovely apple blossom and limestone-scented bouquet that unfurls wonderfully in the glass but retains its elegance. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, saline in the mouth with a precise and detailed finish. This is an excellent, quite nuanced wine that might be holding something up its sleeve for later.

30,000 bottles produced. For the future. Not ready yet. Wait quite a while. (JR)
(bottled in July; a blend of two big east-facing vineyards located far from the river at an altitude of 400 meters, picked at the end in 2015, on September 9; done in foudres and demi-muids ): Subtle aromas of lemon and white flowers. Rich but tight, showing a youthful sweet/sour quality owing to its very sound acidity for the year (4.5 grams per liter, according to Gon, who noted that she did no acidification in 2015). Saline more than fruity today and in need of time in bottle to harmonize.
