Tasting notes
The 2014 Les Angelots de Gracia, from the lieu-dit of Gontey, has a tightly wound bouquet with brown spice and hints of leather. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly supple tannin, quite spicy and feisty, with a harmonious creamy finish infused with cassis and blueberry fruit.

The 2014 Les Angelots de Gracia is plump, juicy and forward, all qualities that make it an excellent choice for drinking over the next handful of years. Black cherry, mocha, spice and new leather shape this dark, extroverted Saint-Émilion. The oak has left the wine with slightly drying tannins, but otherwise this is a solid, tasty wine.
The 2014 Les Angelots de Gracia is a tasty, straightforward wine to enjoy young. Black cherry jam, herbs, tobacco, licorice and savory herbs are all nicely delineated in this generous red. The blend is 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
