The 2015 de Laussac has not improved much since I last tasted it. Excessive oak has dried out the fruit and left the wine with aggressive tannins. Even so, I see quite a bit of potential if the aging regimen gets sorted out. The vegetal, green streak in this wine is impossible to escape.

The 2015 Château De Laussac comes from the Michel Rolland team and is a seriously good Côtes de Castillon worth seeking out. Black raspberries, toasted spiced, graphite, and balsam wood nuances all give way to a ripe, fleshy, medium to full-bodied, incredibly delicious beauty that should drink well for upwards of a decade.
75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc. Convincing mid crimson. Very sweet start almost obliterates the structure! Easy to like but just a little tart and tarry on the end. Pretty powerful! Still quite drying on the end. (JR)
The 2015 de Laussac is jammy and oaky, with green tannins and little in the way of either depth or persistence. Tasted two times.
