Tasting notes
Tasted blind. Deep glowing crimson. Very fragrant – Cabernet Franc? Attractive, sweet and fresh nose but not very harmonious on the palate. Bit of a hole in the middle. Drying finish. (JR)

The 2015 Montviel is light on its feet and quite expressive. Lifted floral and spice notes, along with silky tannins give the 2015 much of its immediacy and attractive, open-knit personality. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years.
The 2015 Montviel is medium to deep garnet-purple with a nose of warm plums, crushed blueberries and chocolate-covered cherries with touches of garrigue and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and seductive, it has plenty of freshness and nice plush tannins, finishing on a fruity note.
