Score 87/100 · Drink 2023-2034, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jul 2020
Aromas of cherries, raspberries, forest floor, grilled ceps and black truffles introduce the 2014 Bourgogne Rouge, a medium to full-bodied, textural wine that's lively and succulent, framed by tannins that are still a little youthfully firm. It will start to show all its cards with another two or three years in the cellar.

About the producer

Domaine Michel Gaunoux
Domaine Michel Gaunoux is today run by Michel’s grandchildren, Anne and Alexandre, with a guiding hand from their mother. Everything here is extremely traditional, and the family has been quietly making rich, complex and age-worthy Pommard and Corton for over half a century.
