The 2014 Volnay Villages has a detailed bouquet with granite-tinged red berry fruit that, like many others, seems to have adopted a Pommard-like personality. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, ripe tannin. The acidity is nicely judged, leading to a more masculine Volnay with a fine line of acidity and perhaps more aging potential than you would presuppose. Dec 2015, www.robertparker.com
