Score 93/100 · Drink 2015-2022, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2015
The 2010 Cuvée Grand Cellier d'Or is warm, rich and open, with signs of early maturity in the bouquet that suggest it will offer its best drinking sooner rather than later. Hints of brioche, pear, smoke and slate add layers of nuance. The Grand Cellier d'Or is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. Disgorged May 2014.

80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir. 45-year-old vines in Rilly-la-Montagne. Fermented in four- to six-year-old barrels. Very firm and dense. Oak by no means obvious. Very youthful and demanding. (JR)
