2013 Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot

Pale yellow. Slightly medicinal aromas of menthol, lemon oil and mirabelle . In a rather plump, easygoing style, but with fruit suppressed in the early going. Mouthfilling but adamantly dry. A mass of contradictions today, and a bit of a cipher. But there's no shortage of texture here, and the wine gained in sweetness with time in the glass.
