Score 88/100 · Drink 2016-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2015
The 2012 Bourgogne has a lovely nose, very natural with touches of underground suffusing the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, very fresh and vibrant with plenty of tart red cherry fruit. It is a little pointed at the moment but give it a year in bottle and you will have a lovely generic red Burgundy.

The 2012 Bourgogne opens with the most exquisite and inviting of bouquets. The flavors are remarkably vivid in a wine that overachieves at this level. Sweet red cherry, plum and spice notes linger on the close. Balance reigns supreme in this classy Bourgogne.
