Score 90/100 · Drink 2021-2026, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Aug 2021
The 2012 Chinon Vieilles Vignes is deep, perfectly ripe and matured on the nose, provided with refreshing mineral and chalky-smoky aromas. Silky, fresh and intense on the palate, this is a firmly structured and persistent Chinon with ripe tannins and a long and aromatic finish. Good energy. Perfect to drink today. Some leather aromas on the aftertaste.
