Good medium red. Slightly dull nose hints at red fruits and truffle. Fat and sweet in the mouth, with a slightly roasted red fruit character. Finishes with substantial sweet, building tannins. Doesn't quite come alive following the 2009 Cannubi.

Commune of Castiglione Falletto. Just mid ruby. Stony, minerally herbal nose. Round fruit with little tension. Acidity turns up only on the finish, while the tannins add much needed contrast. (WS)
