Tasting notes
The 2012 Les Hauts De Smith merits interest. Very supple, sexy, black cherry and blackcurrant and blueberry fruit jump from the glass of this soft, round, juicy wine. It shows white tannin and no real oak. The wine is a rich, fruity, very seductive style of wine to drink over the next 10-12 years.

They continue to do an exemplary job with both white and red. eRobertParker.com.April, 2015
About the producer

Ch. Smith Haut Lafitte is one of the leading lights of Pessac-Léognan today – all thanks to Daniel and Florence Cathiard, who took over the property in 1990 and have since transformed the estate, converting to biodynamics and crafting wines of increasing finesse.
