Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2016-2034, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2014
The 2013 Volnay Santenots has a tightly wound bouquet, the fruits darker than displayed by the village cru with blackberry and boysenberry scents. The palate is smooth and rounded on the entry with finely tuned acidity, quite harmonious in the mouth, with white pepper and rosemary furnishing the persistent finish. This should age well for the next 15-20 years.
