Tasting notes
Screwcap. Sweet and spicy with masses of tarriness. Dry finish. Just a little demanding on the end. (JR)

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 Frankland River Cabernet Sauvignon is intensely scented of black and red currants, kirsch and pencil shavings alongside hints of chocolate box and wild thyme. Full-bodied and packed with black and red fruit flavors, the oak stands out a bit at this youthful stage giving an astringent edge to the otherwise ripe, fine-grained tannins. It finishes long and layered. Drink it 2016 to 2025+. Produced by Larry Cherubino Wines, Ad Hoc is known as "Ad Lib" in the USA. Produced by Larry Cherubino Wines, Cherubino does not currently have a USA importer.
