Score 90/100 · Drink 2015-2019, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Aug 2014
The 2013 Pemberton Chardonnay is slightly closed on the nose giving modest sulfide-dusted, ripe apple notes along with hints of yeast extract, toast and nutmeg. Medium-bodied, with a pleasantly creamy texture, it has tightly knit flavors at this youthful stage and a finish with very good length. Drink it 2015 to 2019+. Produced by Larry Cherubino Wines, Ad Hoc is known as "Ad Lib" in the USA. Produced by Larry Cherubino Wines, Cherubino does not currently have a USA importer.

60% was barrel fermented in new oak. Released end of 2014. On fertile loams. Racy and green. Creamy with lots acidity. Very jujube and lime sherbet. Clean but not that long. (JR)
