Crushed Morello cherry, graphite, red raspberry and white pepper all come seamlessly together on the palate alongside invigorating energy and intensity. It shows fantastic aging potential.

Castiglione Falletto. Developed-looking mid ruby with broad orange rim. Very closed with notes of iron and orange peel. Ripe fruit that is still a little monolithic while the acidity seems almost absorbed. A finely grainy textured wine with a very slow, long, fragrant finish.

Castiglione Falletto. Riper and fruitier than their Cannubi. Still has the signature floral fragrance, but there is even more on the palate – perfume, chocolate, violets, and tar – the whole nine yards of Barolo. Fantastic. (RH)
