Very pale yellow. Fresh apricot and nut meats on the musky nose. Silky and salty but without the fruit ripeness of the 2014; the texture here is probably due more to a lot of batonnage . A bit dry and austere on the back end. Hail resulted in uneven ripening here, noted Boillot.

(an assemblage of premier cru parcels; 2013 produced a normal yield here): Lemon zest dominates the nose. Juicy and brisk but with lovely sucrosite to the lemon and mineral flavors. I like this wine's precision and mineral cut. Should be a good value. These vines average 40 to 45 years of age.
