Tasting notes
Sweet and a bit oaky with bite and a structure that overwhelms the fruit. Lots of framework, tannins and acid. The fruit is just a little timid and it's a bit tough on the end. Not one of the most harmonious. (JR)

Only just mid ruby with watery rim and the beginning of orange. Brooding, sweet and powerful. Perfect balance with cracking acidity and powerful, but finely woven tannin. Quite richly fruity too. Very full on and young. (WS)
Dark blackish ruby. Modern winemaking. Just a bit soulless. Where’s the fruit? Sucks the saliva from your palate. (JR)
La Morra. Deep, concentrated ruby with orange rim. Seems fairly accessible but there is complex, lingering fruit too, with a dense layer of ripe tannin. (WS)
