Tasting notes
Golden-yellow in color and voted with 14% alcohol and 15 grams of residual sugar, the 2012 Riesling Heimbourg is a ripe and opulent flavored wine with a stunningly pronounced acidity and austere minerality. The wine is rich and austere at the same time, and still has some CO2 and fast away from being digestible. The tannin structure is good, but the wine is not in balance today. Difficult to score exactly.
