56% Sauvignon Blanc, 43% Sémillon, 1% Muscadelle. Fermented and aged for eight months in oak (a quarter new). Waxy and round. Lots of life and potential. Very fresh and vital. Not at all heavy. Thank you, Denis Dubourdieu. (JR)

Restrained nose but nice creamy texture. Pretty brief, but the flavours are well formed. Slightly chalky texture. (RH)

The 2013 Clos Floridene is a solid wine to drink over the near term. It shows good body and depth in the mid-weight style of the year, with some elements of greenness on the finish. Depending on price, this could be an attractive offering.
