Tasting notes
The lemon-gold 2012 Riesling Clos Häuserer (from the bottom of the Hengst Grand Cru in Wintzenheim) shows a very clear, mineral, lemony and elegant Riesling bouquet that is immediately attractive, showing a remarkable freshness, finesse and purity. Purity, finesse and elegance are also first virtues on the palate, which is really dry, piquant and very mineral, as well as well structured and stringent in the salty, tension-filled finish. An impressive Riesling loaded with minerals and lemons for immediate pleasure.
