Tasting notes
A lifted, mineral nose with vibrant red fruit. Lovely juiciness on the palate with lots of plush fruit to balance the tannic structure. This is forward, approachable and impeccably balanced.

Dark red cherries, plums, spices, new leather and lavender meld together in the 2010 Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba. This is an especially forward, fruit-driven Barolo with tons of near-term appeal and pure radiance in its sweet, expressive fruit. As the name states, the Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is made from a handful of parcels in the village, including Costabella, Sorana, Baudana, Cerretta, Broglio, Meriame and Damiano.
Serralunga d'Alba. Just mid ruby. Really reluctant on the nose but with elegant fruit and crunchy tannins on the palate. Already delicious, but deserves a little more bottle age. (WS)
