Tasting notes
Very slight mustiness on the nose and quite fibrous tannic feel. Altogether a challenging mouthful and while there is plenty of fruit it doesn't have the purest of profiles. (RH)

Impressive fragrance giving a strong impression of the terroir. Confected fruit on the palate is less congruous. Soft, bouncy palate. Easygoing and perfumed finish. (RH)
The 2013 Siran is an attractive, fleshy Margaux. Juicy dark berries, flowers, mint and sweet spices inform a succulent, supple wine to drink over the next few years, while the flavors are bright.
About the producer

In the south of Margaux, this property has 36 hectares of vines. There’s an unusually large proportion of Petit Verdot (13%) in the vineyard, something which the team feels adds finesse, concentration and a spicy finish to the wine.
