Very rich and ripe. Macerated currants. Flattering even if not that fresh. Good for those who like sweet wines (Mendoza Malbec fans?!). (JR)

A sleeper of the vintage, the 2008 offers up notes of toasty oak, loamy soil, black cherries, black currants, roasted herbs and underbrush. Ripe, medium to full-bodied and lush, it is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years.

Rich and round and fleshy with lots of fruit and interest. Lively. Well done! (JR)
