Pale yellow-gold. Sexy, rather exotic aromas of pineapple, mango, coconut and charred oak. Dense, rich and spicy, with an enticing hint of sweetness to the flavors of lemon drop and pineapple. Nicely combines gras and cut.

A sleeper of the vintage, this constant over-achiever’s 2007 exhibits notes of plum sauce, soy, spice box, and unsmoked, high class cigar tobacco. This round, generous sleeper of the vintage shows good density, medium to full body, and a silky, smooth style. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
Oak spice and dark fruit on the nose, quite sweet smelling. Smooth and dry but a bit flat in the middle. The tannins add freshness on the finish. (JH)
Impressive full ruby. Black cherry and licorice on the ripe but rather high-pitched nose. The palate shows very good stuffing but a slight youthful rigidity to the fruit-driven flavors of blackberry and black cherry. Not yet displaying its personality (it's still a bit clenched today), but the wine's ripeness and sappy finish leave me optimistic that this will come with elevage
