Subtle flowers and oak notes can be discerned in the aromatics of the 1999 Chevalier-Montrachet. Light to medium-bodied, elegant, and tightly wound, it has good depth to its mineral and aggressive oak-flavored character. Will this wine's oak treatment overpower its subtle nature? Projected maturity: now-2006? Maison Louis Latour is represented by a different importer in each state.
