Tasting notes
Not particularly outstanding, the Pontet-Canet, like so many 1976 Bordeaux, is quite mature, with an amber, brownish color. Medium bodied, with good, soft, round, fruity flavors, this wine is slightly deficient in acidity and length, but very agreeable. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 10/84.
