Restrained and simple on the nose. Savoury, dry, soft. Good drinkability without much sense of wonderment. (RH)

Light nose. Rather over-extracted with a bitter finish. Very austere. (JR)

An elegant, fruit-driven, deep ruby/plum-colored effort, the medium-bodied 2008 reveals lots of sweet red and black currant and cherry fruit notes intertwined with hints of cedarwood, underbrush and spice. Drink this round, pure, endearing wine over the next 6-8 years.
