Luscious look. Quite severe on the palate. Really tough. (JR)

Quite meaty and the most developed aromas so far. Lots of undergrowth. More fresh fruit on the palate than on the nose. Smooth, dry and fresh. Slightly abrupt at the end.  (JH)

The chunky, dark ruby/purple-tinged 2004 Belgrave reveals straightforward notes of black cherries and black currants, medium body, moderate tannin, and a soft, silky mouthfeel. It can be drunk now and over the next decade.
