Tasting notes
Bright cherry red. Fresh undergrowth with a hint of green vegetation. Seriously fresh and explosive. Lovely mouthfeel. Great balance! Vigorous. (JR)

The 2010 Volnay bursts from the glass with bright red fruit, flowers, mint and spices. There is a nervous energy to the Volnay that is incredibly appealing. Beautifully articulated saline notes contribute briskness on the finish. This is a flat-out delicious Volnay.
Mid ruby. Very sweet, almost rude, on the nose. Wild! Rather stewed. Not quite civilised but this certainly makes an impression. (JR)
Good bright, deep red. Perfumed aromas of redcurrant, wild herbs and chocolate, lifted by a peppery topnote and complicated by a whiff of leather. Sappy, juicy and nicely delineated; not a fleshy style but vibrant and very nicely balanced.
