Musky aromas of smoke and nuts, along with a Meursault-like oatmeal aspect. Then densely packed, minerally and quite tight, with impressive inner-palate energy. This mineral-driven wine is already delicious even if it's a bit youthfully ungiving and in need of a couple years of patience.

Lower-pitched aromas of citrus skin, minerals and menthol. Fat, sweet and chewy, with a layered texture. Not hugely concentrated, but offers a lovely combination of fresh acids, richness and minerality.
