Score 89/100 · Drink 2006-2014, Robert Parker, Apr 2006
This wine is a sleeper selection from one of the Haut-Medoc’s finest up-and-coming cru bourgeois estates. The dark ruby/plum-tinged 2003 Senejac exhibits sensual, provocative aromas of smoky herbs, sweet cassis and plums, and a notion of figs, terrific fruit, a long, opulent mid-palate, and a silky finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

Savoury, appetising nose. Smooth texture and rather confident. Slightly dry tannins there but at least there is some focus and ambition. (JR)
