70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc. Black cherry, lovely black olive and smoke scent. Attractively light yet persistent with loads of liquorice and fennel to finish. (RH)

Lively crimson. Well mannered but rather suppressed nose. Good balance. Easy to like. Not that complex but not insultingly simple. (JR)

Very deep crimson. Some curious oak – some eastern European? Not quite pure on the nose though lovely structure and ripe fruit on the palate. Tantalising! Rather drying tannins on the finish. Strikes me as some really delightful fruit that has not been given an ideal oak regime. (JR)
