Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2008-2018, Robert Parker, Feb 2008
The 2006 Cornas possesses a dark ruby color along with attractive notions of mint, red and black fruits, underbrush, and forest floor. It will offer pleasant drinking over the next decade. This estate is typical of a lot of Rhone producers. After many years of selling the family’s production to negociants, Dumien-Servette began producing estate bottled wines in 1999. From their tiny 5-acre plot, they fashion fresh, straightforward, pure Cornas. No known American importer.
