Tasting notes
(bottled in March) Subdued aromas of peach, clove and nuts. Intensely flavored, spicy and dry, with strong acidity currently keeping the wine's fruit under wraps. Finishes long but tight, with brisk suggestions of lemon and lime. Still a baby.

Delicate almond and white flower aromas, quite expressive even though there is a smoky reductive note as well. Lovely aromatic mid-palate freshness. Elegant with a mineral edge to the purity of the fruit, (JH)
(from a crop level under 40 hectoliters per hectare; these vines were picked late in '07) Pineapple and citrus peel on the musky nose. Brisk and dry, with a firm minerality to its grapefruit and pineapple flavors. In a lean style, with firm acidity giving it a youthfully hard edge and an almost metallic quality.
